Project summary
Architecture here is understood as the art of controlling light. The façade is composed as a series of overlapping screens, overhangs, and reveals that filter daylight into the interior at different intensities and angles throughout the day.
No room receives the same quality of light at the same hour; each space is authored by its particular relationship with the sun. The section is a journey through different luminous conditions — from the bright clarity of the south-facing living spaces to the softer, more contemplative quality of rooms set deeper into the volume.
At night, the process reverses: the house emits light through its layered skin, reading from the mountain road below as a glowing lantern set into the hillside.
Classical in its approach ! Contemporary in its Interior. This house redefines classical arches and voltes and transforms them into a filter of light and emotions.
