Project summary
In the clear air of Mrouj at altitude, this chalet is an exercise in geometric precision. The plan is clean and legible — a primary volume with a secondary element that defines the entrance sequence and frames a view toward the ski slopes.
Materials are reduced to their essential forms: concrete, stone, and glass, each honest about its nature and its structural role. There is no ornament here; only the pleasure of proportions correctly made.
The chalet does not attempt to be a village house. It is unambiguously a product of its time, placed with confidence in a landscape of extraordinary natural authority. Next to it, resides a mineral piazza with bleachers oriented towards the sunset . A real connection between architecture and nature.
