Project summary
Nestled in Abdelle, a picturesque village in northern Lebanon just 40 minutes from Beirut, S Residence offers a serene escape from the stresses of everyday life. Completely hidden from the road, its U-shaped design harmoniously blends with the surrounding landscape. Accessed via an upper terrace that connects to the road, the residence features a stunning suspended pool that appears to float toward the sunset, creating an ideal spot for evening relaxation.
Visitors have two options for entering the home: they can choose the Roman steps that overlook a lush green patio leading to the main entrance, or they can take the panoramic elevator and stairs that descend to the lower floors. The floor plan resembles a narrow ribbon, with a concrete retaining wall on one side and a series of fragmented glass panels on the other, offering breathtaking views of the forest. The varied orientations of these panels enhance the reflections of the trees, immersing residents in the natural beauty around them.
The design consists of a series of interconnected slabs that lead to the main terrace and an outdoor seating area, creating a seamless transition between architecture and nature. The residence is completed by a spectacular infinity pool and external bleachers, which draw attention to the surrounding trees and create an inviting ambiance. S Villa in Abdelle serves as a direct link between nature and living, existing in harmony with its environment while remaining beautifully discreet. This unique quality is what makes it truly remarkable
