Project summary
The rooftop is located in the suburbs of Beirut, in a residential building of 13 floors.
It is composed of 2 levels (12 and 13th floors), with an adjacent terrace on the 13th floor.
The inverted scheme allowed to have the reception at the level of the terrace, extending the apartment toward a green cocoon, while keeping the privacy of the rooms in the underneath floor.
Dining under a skylight and benefiting from a 360deg view and the cross ventilation thanks to the fluid plan are a must in this urban apartment.
The apartment serves as a light source reflector.
A mix between white painted materials, black cladding, walnut wood, glass and vegetation, creates a combination of spaces, interacting with the sceneries, defining the shapes and the materiality, through lights and shadows.
The journey of a visitor ends with a spectacular suspended garden, planted with different kinds of trees, allowing the occupant to interact with the nature.
A white painted jacuzzi , surrounded by greeneries, is elevated from the main external seating area through a wooden deck facing the horizon, linking the external world to the suspended urban garden
