Project summary
Set within the vast, silent landscape of AlUla, this desert retreat is conceived as an unseen module—an architecture that dissolves into its surroundings rather than asserting itself upon them.
Clad in reflective aluminum panels, the building mirrors the shifting tones of sand, sky, and sunset, rendering the structure almost immaterial, perceived only through light and shadow.
The architecture is reduced to a pure horizontal gesture, framing the desert rather than competing with it. Interior and exterior dissolve into one continuous living experience, where controlled openness, filtered light, and deep thresholds create a calm dialogue with the harsh climate.
Here, architecture becomes atmosphere: present yet invisible, deliberate yet restrained—a retreat that exists in harmony with the desert, not as an object, but as a reflection.
