Project summary
Located on a site linking two roads, the project aims to create a junction in which the community can fully emancipate itself.
In this sense, the sloped roof creates a continuous promenade that encompasses the whole terrain and spreads across the ends of the site to communicate with the two roads.
The work on the internal facades of the project overlooking the hub of the mall, was mainly focused on louvers that would both allow the communication back and forth between the interior of the mall and the heart of the project, all while regulating sunlight in a much-needed atmosphere in Saudi Arabia.
The project becomes a public space used days and nights.
A series of restaurants and leisure functions are dispersed on the roof, whereas a concept shopping mall, cinemas and other facilities are spread out on all the building’s floors.
Vegetation is scattered through all the project on different levels transforming the building into an evasion oasis.
