Project summary
Located on a site accessible by two roads, the project aims to create a Communal piazza in which the community can fully emancipate itself.
Composed around a central hub, the project deploys itself in a fragmented architecture that allows the heart of the project to shine as a junction amidst mixed functions, ranging from a movie theatre, to shops and open spaces.
The central oasis becomes more than a simple mall meeting place.
It is transformed into a community landmark that encourages all sort of village-like living.
This is even more accentuated by the volumetric approach of the surrounding project that takes different heights and proportions causing the mall to feel more like a small village rather than an industrial shopping center.
Concrete, metal, wood and glass are the main materials used in this landmark.
Different galleries and walkways are scattered all around the project, creating a sequence of interacted public spaces surrounded by a dense vegetation, and accompanied by the sound of water.
